Simpsons offer a wide range of services including, airfreight, sea freight both full and part container loads, vehicle shipping and excess baggage. 

Containerised shipping by sea is a cost effective mode of transport.  Our most popular service is groupage, this is ideal for consignments that are too large for airfreight, but too small for a full container load.  Consignments bound for the same destination share the space within a container and the charges calculated only on the volume used.

We also offer a full container service, whereby you have the sole use of either a 20 foot or 40
foot shipping container, providing a fast direct service.  The container can be loaded and sealed at your premises, access permitting.

Air freight is the fastest option for relocating your effects and is ideal for essential items required immediately upon arrival.  Consignments are transported quickly and securely, arriving at your destination airport soon after despatch.

We offer a full export packing service, using fully trained packing staff and a specialist range of cartons and materials.  In addition we offer case making services, tailor made to offer maximum protection for your valuable items.

Our excess baggage service is ideally suited to small consignments of boxed personal effects or items of luggage.   We will supply suitable packing materials and boxes for you to pack.  Once packing is complete, we will collect from anywhere in the UK and send by sea, air
or road to anywhere in the world.

If your new home is not ready, or you do not intend to be at your destination, we can arrange interim storage either in the UK at one of our strategically placed storage facilities or with our appointed partners at destination.

We have carefully selected a network of first class partners in every major country, who will usually organise Customs clearance formalities on your behalf, transfer your goods from the port or terminal of arrival via their warehouse, or direct to your new home. 

We understand the importance of peace of mind for our clients and it is for this reason we have launched our online tracking system.  Issued with a unique tracking reference number, you can log onto our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and track the status of your shipment.

Authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, we can offer a comprehensive marine insurance policy to cover your shipment, including the extension of your policy should your goods be stored at destination.  The policy can also be enhanced to offer coverage for pairs and sets, mould and mildew and electrical and mechanical derangement.
