Holiday Entitlement
4.8 weeks. This will increase to 5.6 weeks from 1st April 2009

Sick Pay Entitlement
No obligation in law exists but employees are entitled to SSP (Statutory Sick Pay). GPB75 per week is the entitlement if you earn over GBP90 per week.

National Minimum Hourly Wage
GBP5.73 (22yrs plus)
GBP4.77 (18-21yrs)
GBP3.53 (up to 18 yrs) - includes those who are no longer of compulsory school age.


Average Hourly Pay - full time employees
GBP11.34 (year to April 2007)

Average Weekly Paid Hours
37.3 hours (August 2008 quarter)
